Happy Easter

I promise most of this post is Easter, but I did have my camera out and ready for coloring eggs so I had to snap a couple pictures of the boys before.

If you have ever seen Graham whip around on his plasma car this face is even more funny! This kid is crazy!

Later that night we had FHE and then colored eggs. Crew is very into this but unfortunately we don't get too detailed with our G monster around!

I was still in Utah Easter morning so I had to take a picture of the baskets before I left. Sunday evening we had our egg hunt. Graham didn't really care too much about the eggs. He found one and was happy with it. He has the BYU under his eyes because they were some of the "presents" I brought back from BYU for them.

Graham decided jumping on the tramp was much more fun

Crew, of course, loved the egg hunt

Happy Easter

A Quick Trip to Utah

A couple weeks ago I got to go up to Utah for my cousin's wedding. Matt was a dear and stayed home with the kiddos so I could go. Christian picked me up Friday morning and brought me back to good old Provo. I haven't been back there for three years and it was so great to be back!
The only problem with the whole weekend was that it was freezing! Seriously! The end of April and it was maybe 50 degrees as a high. Burrr.... how did I live here for 7 years and so sorry Kath that you still have to be in that freezing weather!

I loved being able to spend a little time with Kath and Devin. I keep hoping somehow we will live by these guys again!
I am so lucky to have Katherine as a sister and miss this girl!
It was also so much fun to be with this boy! Christian is in China for the next four months doing an internship with Nike. I really miss his ring tone already! Christian is such an amazing kid and it is always great to spend some quality time together.
They have totally spruced up Riverwoods since we left. I loved the cabin/ woodsy feel and had to take a picture of the fire. I think Kath looks so cute in this.
Christian and I drove up to Layton that night and the next morning my darling little cousin Sarah was sealed in the Bountiful temple. The happy couple.
My sweet Grandma and Christian
It was so much fun to hang out with so much extended family. I am so blessed to have such a great relationship with them even though we usually only got to see them once a year. This picture is with my cousin David, Christian and his darling "special friend" Kim. Thank you mama for letting me be your date to the wedding! It was a quick trip but so great to be there and also so great to get back home to all of my boys!

Taking Home the Trophy

Crew had his last soccer game a couple weeks ago. Soccer has been so good for Crew. He had a few little rough patches in the season, but came out loving soccer and growing so much. Here is Graham warming up before the game. Now THIS kid can dribble! And Crew scoring his first goal of the game.

After the second

After the game, Graham helped Grandpa water the yard. He takes this chore very seriously.

But he will take an occasional break to kiss Grandma

Here he is climbing a ladder. This boy is a serious monkey. He can climb anything and DOES. The other day I found him on my parents computer desk playing with scissors. Great mom, huh?

Later that afternoon we had Crew's soccer party. This was the moment he has been waiting for since he signed up for soccer...getting his first trophy!

Oh he was so excited and carried it around with him for days until it started breaking. Now it sits proudly on his night stand.

Great job Crew boy! We love you!

All Aboard...

I need to catch up on some of our recent events... a couple weeks ago, Alyssa and I took our kids over to visit their great grandpa and grandma Riggs. It was so much fun to visit with them! Here are the kids with G and G Riggs.
I love Graham and Grandma Riggs in this picture.

Crew and Talli had a blast playing in the back yard. These two can be such great buddies when they want to be ;)

Another huge highlight of the week was getting to meet the real Olson twins! Jenny and her darling boys stopped by and oh are they so sweet! It was so great to finally meet these sweet boys and I just wanted to hold them all day. So precious! It was great to see Jenny and her mom too ;) It was cloudy and rainy a couple days recently. I LOVE days like this. Clouds make the sky so dramatic. The boys busted out the styrophome airplane again since conditions were perfect for flying. Only a few minor crashes.

And we finished the week with a morning at the train park. We brought Crew's buddy Grant with us and had a fantastic morning.

In the animal cart of the train

Truly where they belong

It was so fun to see how much Graham loved this place, although he seems pretty serious in the picture
