Memorial Day 2013

We were not planning on doing much over Memorial Day weekend until all Matt's siblings decided to go home for the weekend. So, Friday we decided to join them and Saturday morning we got up and drove out to Az. It was really a great trip despite the extra lack of sleep. Wren loved making her debut with all Matt's family...

 And there is always fun to be had with all these crazy cousins.

 One of the highlights of the trip was getting to see Matt's Nonny and Poppy. Wren was not as excited but we are always grateful for an opportunity to spend time with them.

 Another reason for the trip was to finally meet baby Luca. She is about 3 months ahead of Wren.

 It was a terrible time of day to shoot a picture but here is the entire family.

We were back on the road Monday morning so it was a quick trip but we sure do love these people! :)

Dates with Dad

I'm pretty sure the boys think having a new baby is the best thing ever because that means lots of time with Dad! Each boy got a special date with dad and both boys have been doing lots of swimming, hiking and playing with Matt. Here are some pics I got off his phone.

 Graham totally scored on his date because he went with Matt to take my mom back to the airport so their date was exploring the boats in the harbor of San Diego. This kid was in heaven!

 Anthony's is a special spot for Matt's family so he a Graham had to have lunch there.

 Crew and Matt had to stay local but had a great afternoon at the driving range and lunch together.

 Speaking of dates, Matt picked me up for our first date in this car and we have had sooo many great memories with this car ever since. We sold the Element last week (sniff, sniff) but it was a blessing too. It is kind of pathetic how attached I get things like this!

First Family Day Trip

Yesterday we did our first family day trip. But before I show that, here are a couple fun pics from Sunday.

 Wren is such a chunk in this picture! She looks like she should have an apple in her mouth and be served with dinner:) Growing way too fast!

 Matt took yesterday off so we made the most of it. We drove down to the tide pools at Point Loma and these boys were in heaven!

 It was a beautiful day and after at least two hours of exploring we were finally able to drag the kids away. This cemetery was just beautiful too. What a great spot.

It was a beautiful day and fun to spend it together as a family.
