Overload...

The past month has been busy. I am in full-blown nesting mode, we have had a few visitors come to town, and of course, we have been enjoying our moments of family time. Here is a very random compilation of pictures to show what we have been up to.

Last Saturday the boys were up early (6am) and it was a really warm morning. So we took a nice long walk to a donut shop, climbed lots of trees, and just enjoyed the beautiful morning together. Matt even took them swimming later that afternoon.

Baseball season has begun. That means lots of time entertaining this little guy during games and practices. Good thing he is so cute.
Presidents Day was spent exploring with friends.
Valentine's Day is so much fun with the kids. Matt and I heart-attacked the down stairs and boys loved it! Crew made everyone homemade Valentines. I got 7 because he said I was his someone special:)

Our VDay breakfast was heart pancakes with freshly squeezed juice. Yum!

Matt and I did get to sneak away for a dinner date and then we came home to do our traditional dessert fondue with the boys. Chocolate gets everywhere but it is so fun to do together!

Since Matt is busy studying for his boards and perhaps still a little burnt out from doing the kitchen table, I took on the project of sanding and painting the crib. Much bigger project than I expected but really glad I did it! I am VERY grateful for my all-knowing older sister, who guided me through this project! However, I still think if she really loved me she would have come up and done it herself :) Matt did put in a couple of hours helping too which I am very grateful for!
I will post another picture once I have all the bedding in but it does look fresh and fantastic!
After a morning of Matt helping me with the crib, we took the boys out get some fresh air and use up some energy. I love watching these boys run and play. What a wonderful day!

For Graham's birthday, my parents paid for him to do a little sports class. He has absolutely LOVED it and Matt and I have been loving getting to watch him in action. Look at that focus and concentration!
Matt's brother Michael and his wife came out to California for a dental conference a couple weeks ago. We took an afternoon off to go down and meet them in Encinitas. It wasn't super warm but it was still beautiful! Matt and Michael got to surf, Sarah and I got to chat, and the boys got to play. Everyone was happy but sufficiently numb by the end of the afternoon.

Graham at the Dr's office a few weeks ago. He is hilarious because he loves Dr's offices and is always so cooperative and charming. Something may be wrong with him!
I was grateful to hear he had an ear infection. I love knowing that after a day of meds my child should return to normal! He of course LOVED bubblegum medicine, but then again who doesn't!
And finally, my parents also made a quick trip out to San Diego back in January. It was cold and rainy but we still had a great little visit with them down at Maren's. Here are my parents with Crew and Carson in the hurricane simulator. Who invented this thing? That being said, it was actually very entertaining!
The weeks ahead should just get busier. Matt celebrates his 31st bday on Saturday, my mom is coming out next week for my baby shower (woohoo!), baseball games start up (2 a week!), Matt takes his boards March 11th, the Allens are coming our for a visit, and hopefully this baby girl comes sooner than later:) Lots to look forward too!
