Four Months

My little Graham turned four months on the 27th. Where did the past four months go? So I have been comparing pictures again. It is so fun to look back at Crew at this age. It really doesn't seem that long ago. What do you think?
Here is Crew

Kind of fun. Some little differences. Graham is really developing his little personality. He talks all the time and loves to laugh at Crew. He HATES his carseat, just like his brother, but loves the baby bjorn. Graham likes his tummy, music, standing, jumping, spitting, slobbering, spitting, and hands. He is so fun right now and we just love him!

Sports Blitz

Today was Crew's first day in his Sports Blitz class. I don't know who was more excited, Crew or Matt and I! It was so fun to watch and he LOVED it! He looks so little because all the other kids are 4-6 but he did great and can't wait till next week! Getting on his jersey.
The class is an hour rotating soccer, baseball and football. He said they were all his favorite.
Kind of blurry but look at the concentration!
A couple shots of the fans
Again the slobber! But oh what a cute face!

Can you see the mouth open smile?

Love him!

Enjoy Your Family

When we were on our trip a little over a month ago, I was surprised how much attention (usually positive) my children drew and how often I was told to "enjoy your family." I have thought about that phrase often since we got home. True, there are many things about babies and three year olds that are not always the most enjoyable. My personal time is sparse, my sleep always interrupted, and my patience tried. However, I have been trying to follow the advice of so many strangers and really enjoy my little family at these precious stages. Yesterday I took the boys all by myself to Disneyland. It was such a fun day! Of course we missed Matt and Crew wasn't able to do all of his favorite rides, but we created fun memories together and managed to pull off a fantastic day without any tantrums (Crew) or crying spells(Graham). I love my boys and feel so blessed to have them. I didn't get any pictures of our fun day together but here are some from the past week. Graham's face looks so round in this picture but I love his sweet smile! Graham is such a funny baby. Sometimes when I can't figure out what he wants, I will just put him in some random position and he is happy. Here he is finally happy on my lap while I fold laundry and Matt studies. Like the wet spot on my leg? He was like this for at least 15 minutes just happy as can be.
Just a sweet boy with lots of slobber! (His soaked shirt and drippy chin)
And then there is Crew. Crew is becoming almost too independent. He is growing up so fast and wants to do what all the bigger kids do. He is really good for the most part but when he melts, it can be ugly! He loves hanging out in the bath though!
Seriously who is that big boy?

My newest obsession

Below is a recipe I got from my sister for Carmel Bars. I am not kidding, these things are ooey, gooey, addicting, and oh so amazing! I try to think of any excuse to make them these days. Seriously, make them! (click on the picture to make it bigger and easier to read)
Don't say that I didn't warn you how addicting these are!!!!

Hooray! More Grandparents!

We have been so spoiled lately to have my parents last week and Matt's parents this week! Oh we love grandmas and grandpas! Matt's parents got in late Thursday afternoon and after we ate dinner we walked down to our farmer's market.
So happy to have his grandma and grandpa
This sweet boy was happy too.
Crew loves to wait for trains to pass by the train tracks
Reading books to get ready for bed

The next day we played close to home in the morning then the boys and I wanted to show Matt and his parents the Descanso Gardens. Here is playing around at home.
Crew introducing Grandpa to his fish friends from last time
I know Crew doesn't look real excited about this but he really does love it! The conductor looks pretty excited too.

I was nursing Graham across the way and had the camera so I thought I would take a few shots of the others killing time while they waited for me.

It was a great day to be outside and enjoy some of nature's finest beauty! The next morning we had breakfast at Knott's Berry Farm.

Rocking off the breakfast
Afterwards we played baseball at our park and then rested some more before the Allens left for home.
As Dave and Becky were leaving Crew told them to have a good drive and that he would see them tomorrow. Poor kid. Loves having grand parents around and was so bummed when he heard they weren't coming back tomorrow. It was so much fun to have them visit though!
This morning we had to be at church at 8 so I didn't get a picture of the boys in their Easter attire until afterwards. They looked even cuter that morning before all the spit up and messed up hair from playing in primary but it was so fun to dress them up this morning in their matching ties.

I know I am slightly bias but they were the cutest things today at church! Bummer Easter Sunday was during General Conference. Maybe next time I will get a before church shot. Anyway, it was a great weekend and thanks Dave and Becky for coming out to play!
