El Matador Beach

Saturday morning we went up to El Matador Beach in Malibu. This beach was so much fun with all the caves and rocks. Crew was in heaven. We are trying to make the most of the rest of our time here and discover new beaches. This one is definitely our new favorite. As we were leaving Crew said "let's always come back to this beach!" I completely agree! Here are a lot of pictures from our fun day.

Nothing like donuts on the beach!
Graham is getting pretty good at sitting up all by himself. I just didn't want him to face plant in the sand so I helped him out a little in these pictures.
Notice the chocolate still all over Crew's face!
lovin the sand between his toes

Like I said, this boy was in heaven and on the rocks almost the entire time.
Now you know it has been a good day!
Crew tormenting his brother. Although, Graham seems to really enjoy it!
I just love how much these boys already love each other
Love them!

Compliments of Jenny

My wonderful friend Jenny came to one of Crew's sports classes a couple weeks ago and brought her nice camera too. Below are some really great pictures of my boys! Thanks Jenny for coming to cheer on Crew and capture such priceless moments! You're the best!

These are precious

Getting into Dodge ball

Baseball was the last rotation this day. I think Crew was getting pretty tired and I'm not sure what is going on with his shorts.

This is so funny to me! I kept yelling to him from the sidelines to pull his shirt out but I think he was totally zoned! Oh well.

Mmm....Rice Cereal (and some random)

Graham got to add something new to his diet last week! I swear this kid is going to be a better eater than Crew. Graham is already very interested in what we eat and so rice cereal went over pretty well. What a sweet guy
Whenever Graham has the luxury of taking a nap at home, Crew loves to crawl into his crib with him when Graham wakes up. They lay in there for at least ten minutes or so talking and laughing. It is really cute.
Sports class is still going well.
Look at that stride!

A few more food shots... chunky babe!
And we did try a little bit of carrots. "Hey guys, is there something on my face?"
Graham is now rolling and he gets especially "roll happy" after his baths. Action shot.
Cute little buns in the background. He is such a fun age!
Today we made the most of a beautiful afternoon in L.A. and did the Hollywood Hike. It was a little windy which made it kind of cool for those we just along for the ride (Graham) but it was fun to see such great views of this crazy city. That is the Observatory and downtown in the background. You can catch a little glimpse of the hollywood sign behind these rugged mountain men.
On top of Daunte's Summit. Fantastic view (poor Graham is asleep and looks pretty funny!)

Great shot of the Observatory.
It was a great little hike and beautiful day!

What we've been doing

We have been pretty busy with so many random things lately but here are a few pictures of what has been going on. A week ago last Sunday, my parents and brother came into town for a few hours on their way out to China. My borther served his mission in Taiwan so they are spending two weeks in China and Taiwan, visitng his mission. They flew in for the evening and we had a great dinner and some fun at the park before tucking the kids in bed and getting them to LAX for their 1:30 am flight to Hong Kong. It was so much fun to have them here for a few hours!
Crew pitching.

Christian, Matt and Crew had a band going. Crew drums, Christian guitar, and Matt harmonica. Please excuse the disaster my house is in this picture. It takes me a few days to recover from any visit from my parents thanks to Last Chance (Not that I am complaining!)
It was especially fun to have Christian around. We love that boy, especially Crew.
Can I tell you though how much I hate having my family out of the country!!!! It is so strange to not be able to call my mom, dad or Christian. They are three of my favorite people to talk to and we all talk frequently. My poor sister and I talk about 5 times a day since there is no one else who wants to hear all about our random daily adventures! One more week to go and mom, please never leave the country again or if you do, take me with you!
We had some fun adventures during the week that are not pictured but here are a couple of shots from Crew's last sports class. The cutest fan there. And the cutest athlete
Last Friday night was Crew and Matt's first Father/Sons campout! Crew was so excited and absolutely loved it!
Matt said he ate about 10 marshmellows. It was fun to hear all about their adventures and it was another reminder how fast that boy is growing up.
Not a great shot but it is of both of them.
Look at this sweet, swollen face! Graham had just woken up from a nap and he is so snuggly when he wakes up I can hardly stand it!
One more shot of the puffy boy
We finished the weekend with a great birthday party for my dear friend Jenny and a wonderful Mother's Day. It was a great week!
